Today we look at one of the most famous stories in the bible: David and Goliath. We look at the deep faith that David had in the Lord and how that enabled him to defeat the giant set before him.
Today we begin a new sermon series diving into the life of King David. David is one of the most complex and human characters seen in Scripture. He is passionate about God and still deeply flawed. Today we look at the moment that David is chosen by the prophen Samule to be the next King of Israel and learn that God has different criteria for his leaders than the world does.
Today we conclude our study through the short book of Jude. In this sermon, we see that the true foundation of the Faith is not simply doctrine or theology, but the person of Jesus. We also see how the Church is to address those who are struggling in their faith, and are reminded that Christ has a plan to redeem all things in the end.
Today, Pastor Lucas McCann continues us on our journey through the book of Jude. In this passage, Jude gives a warning against false teachers who have taken root in the church.
Today we continue our study of Jude by looking at one of the most confounding passages in the New Testament. In just five short verses, Jude references fallen angels, the destruction of Sodom, and an argument between two spiritual beings over the body of Moses. To understand what Jude is doing, we dive into the history of our Bible, learning about a collection of writings called the deuterocanonical books.
