Starting in February, I will be preaching a new sermon series on the book of Revelation. Revelation is one of the more controversial and strange books in our bibles, but it is also one of the more important books as it is God’s concluding chapter to his grand narrative, the story of the bible. It is also a literary masterpiece inspired and revealed by God himself.
Believe it or not, 2025 has arrived. And with its arrival, I am personally looking forward to a great year of kingdom growth for our church. This includes each of us growing in our personal discipleship and our church corporately bearing fruit for the kingdom of God.
This past month was Pastor Appreciation Month and many of you took the opportunity to express your appreciation to me and Mona. Thank you, Calvary family.

Summer Ends, School Begins, and Discipleship Continues
As we turn the pages of our calendars to September, we can now proclaim Summer of 2024 to officially be over. Thanks to everyone who made Calvary’s “End of Summer Celebration” a great success. From our fish fry chefs, to our kitchen hosts, to our decorators, our servers, our hospitality team, and kids fest crew, thanks so much for a great day. Additionally, I’m very thankful for our worship leaders who planned and led a beautiful combined worship service for our church family.
