Every student is looking for a place to belong, a place to be fully known and fully loved. That's why we call our student ministry a family. We want every student who walks through our doors to know that they are loved by God, by adult leaders, and by their fellow students. As a family of Jesus-followers, we've been given a mission to make disciples who make disciples. Here's how we seek to do that:
- Worship - We want students to love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We want them to love Jesus more than they love anything or anyone else. This is the essence of worship!
- Connect - We want to connect students to Jesus, to mature followers of Jesus, and to each other. We believe that growth happens best in deep relationships with other people, and we want every student to experience that.
- Equip - We don’t want to just teach students more information. We want to equip them and give them the tools they need to actually be able to minister themselves.
- Multiply - We want to give students opportunities to take ownership of the student ministry, teach, and lead, and then commission them to live on mission on their school campuses. Every follower of Jesus is called to minister and serve the body (Eph. 4:12).
Weekly Schedule
Refuge is our Wednesday night student ministry gathering. We begin with a free meal at 6 p.m., followed by worship and a time of teaching. This is a time of singing, growing, and fun. If you are looking for a way to get involved, Refuge is a great place to start!
Sunday Mornings we gather in the Hangar for Bible Study. This time is spent diving deep into God's Word and pulling out application for students' lives. Bible Study starts at 10:15 on Sunday morning.
Sunday Nights are a time of community for our student ministry. We gather together for small groups, eat dinner, have fun, and learn what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples. These gatherings are focused on training students to live out their faith in every area of their lives every day.
