Most people love the month of May. Why? Well, of course it’s because April showers bring May flowers! May is truly one of the most beautiful and joyous months of the year. The beauty of May warms our hearts and makes us smile, especially if we happen to find a fish on the end of our line J. It is a time when nature comes alive with beauty and fruitfulness and delightful weather. I truly love the month of May and hope you do too.
How about Calvary in May? Well, there are a lot of beautiful, fruitful, and life-giving things for us to experience this month at our church. We will celebrate our graduates, our mothers, a children’s dedication, Memorial Day and more. Also, this May, we will have the chance to grow in our service as we will have a “Service Fair” of sorts as part of our Disciples Cross training. The training will begin on April 30 and conclude on May 7.
So Calvary family, may we celebrate the goodness of God this May.
