Jesus frequently shared heavenly teaching through earthly stories called parables. This sermon focuses on one of the more popular parables told by Jesus called the Parable of the Sower. In this parable, Jesus spoke of four different types of soil which each represent a different response to the word of God sown into a person’s life. Sadly, only one of the four is a good response that allows God’s word to fulfill its divinely appointed purpose. The parable and the sermon challenge each of us to answer the question, which soil type am I?
