The parable of the prodigal son is one of Jesus’ most well known parables, but as Ryan shows us in this sermon, it is also one of the most misunderstood. There is more than one brother in the parable, and through this story of two brothers, Jesus shatters our categories about God, ourselves, sin, salvation, and the kingdom.
