Tables Turning, Feathers Flying, and Jesus Shouting (John 2:13-22)
In this sermon we will meet a Jesus that we are not used to seeing.
He’s not your normal Jesus. You know, your gentle, patient, cool, calm, and collected Jesus. No, in this story, he’s not that at all. In fact, he’s extremely angry, loud, and even aggressive. If this Jesus seems to be a little out of character, then perhaps we don’t fully understand Jesus’ true character. Join us as we witness the “cleansing of the Temple” and come to grips with its meaning for us today.
