"The Widow's Mite" (Luke 21:1-4)
Join us as we dive into the Gospel of Luke!
In today’s message, Jesus celebrates a poor widow who gave less than a penny to the Temple treasury. When Jesus saw this, he told his disciples that this widow had given more than all the wealthy donors who too had contributed to the treasury. Why? Because she put in all that she had to live on. From this passage, we learn that God measures giving not by the amount given, but by the amount of sacrifice involved in the giving. Jesus wants all of us to be faithful kingdom investors like this poor widow. Listen to this sermon and learn more from her extraordinary example.
