Our Dangerously Good God (Exodus 19 & 24)
In Exodus chapters 19 and 24, we experience two powerful worship services at the base of Mt. Sinai.
The worship scene involved thunder, lightning, earthquakes, and a consuming fire enveloping the mountain. Additionally, it included scripture reading, sacrificial offerings, blood being sprinkled on everyone present, numerous warnings not to approach the mountain uninvited, and multiple occasions for the people to pledge their obedience to God. As we experience the scene of Mt. Sinai, we are reminded of the glorious goodness of our God, but also that it is dangerous to be in a personal relationship with him. Join us as for this message as we get to know our dangerously good God.
