What Is True & Proper Worship?
This service explores what it means to truly worship Jesus with your whole life.
Psalm 96:8 says, “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name!” This is a great definition of worship. The bible provides numerous ways that we can express our worship to God. This includes singing, making music, prayer, giving an offering, hearing the word of God, and even dancing before the Lord. This sermon, however, helps us to take personal worship to a completely new level. Essentially, it teaches us that worship is presenting ourselves wholly to God, which is a very holy thing to do. The passage even gives us guidance on how we can worship in a true and proper way, which will allow us to accomplish God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will!
