The Tabernacle (Exodus 25-30)
As we come to the last section of Exodus (chapters 25-40), the focus is on building the tabernacle which will become the dwelling place of God among his people.
God spent extensive time with Moses on top of Mt. Sinai giving him a detailed blueprint for this beautiful, portable house of God and its furniture. Through it, we learn much about God’s holiness, his presence, his power, his glory, and his desire to be with his people in intimate fellowship. Also, we learn much about the devastating consequences of sin and the extreme measures that must be taken to atone for sin.
