The Power of Earnest Prayer

Each month, the Calvary Prayer Team chooses a topic for focused prayer. This month, the prayer focus will be on the war in Ukraine. As we discussed the prayer points, I was surprised by the similarities between the crisis in Ukraine and the crisis that the early church experienced in Acts 12. Both crises involve a powerful, vindictive, political leader who uses horrific violence in an attempt to annihilate a people group. In Acts, the people group that is targeted is the Jesus followers. This message will reveal how God rescued his people, particularly the Apostle Peter. Additionally, it reveals some unique insights into spiritual warfare and affirms that our God is sovereign over all earthly kings who in the end, will face his just judgment. Check this message out and prepare to celebrate how God always triumphs over evil.
