The Gospel Propelled by Persecution
Join us as we dive into Acts!
This sermon parallels the current Ukrainian crisis with a similar crisis in the early church. People in both situations are forced to flee their homes to preserve their lives. In Acts, after Stephen is killed for his faith, persecution begins against the church which forces the church to scatter. As the early church believers left their homes, they did not leave as refugees, rather they left as missionaries who preached the word of God wherever they went. As our hearts grieve the tremendous hardships being endured by our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, we are reminded that often, it is out of adversity and hardship that the embers of revival catch fire. May God’s light shine bright in the midst of the darkness!
