Acts 6:1-7
Join us as we dive into Acts!
As one reads the extraordinary and exciting spiritual events recorded in the early chapters the book of Acts, one might think that Luke is giving an idealized portrait of the early church. However, Luke doesn’t just tell the good. He also tells the bad. In today’s bible lesson from Acts 6:1-7, we will examine how the early church addressed a bad problem within the church. The problem involved partiality and prejudice which left some of their most vulnerable people in need. These are things that the church cannot and should not tolerate. Listen to this sermon to see how the church leaders addressed and solved their problem. Their solution has provided a model for us today in learning to work collaboratively in the body of Christ for the glory of Christ.
