Pergamum was known for being a political center, an intellectual center, a cultural center, a medical center, and a religious center. Also, tragically, it was known for being a center of emperor worship and for putting great pressure on Christians to conform to the city’s practices and values. In this message, you will hear both Jesus’ praise and loving confrontation to the church of Pergamum. Also, you will learn about some Jesus’ special promises to those who overcome.
