Advent: "When Baby Jesus Meets Simeon and Anna"
Join us as we dive into the Gospel of Luke!
Luke’s last comments concerning the Advent of baby Jesus involve a story in Luke 2:22-40 where Joseph and Mary take baby Jesus to the Jerusalem Temple to be dedicated to the Lord. There, they encounter two Godly, elderly people whom God sends to prophecy over the baby and to encourage his parents. There are many wonderful Christmas lessons we can learn from this less familiar Advent story and its characters.
