A Summer of Service | July 2026
Calvary Family,
Summer missions 2026 is off to a fast start at Calvary. We have already had a great week of Vacation Bible School and our deacons have already successfully served a great meal to the World Changers of Little Rock
Additionally, we are about to send six Calvary members to Peru for a medical mission trip serving Zona Zegura during the first full week of July. And, as this team is returning, we will be sending 30 church members to serve with Together for Hope in Helena, AR. This team will help lead the annual swim camp/VBS and will serve on construction teams around the city. I’m excited to learn that this may be our largest team ever to send to Helena.
Furthermore, Mona and I will make a personal trip to visit New City Church in Austin. We will have a chance to visit with and pray over Ryan and Callie Perkins and Justin and Rebecca Smith who are serving as co-pastors for the church. It will be good to see and experience the church personally as we have not yet had a chance to visit. I anticipate that the visit will give us some insight in how we can best support this important mission partner in the future.
So, in the midst of summer fun and festivities, much mission work is happening. And, I love that about Calvary. May God bless us and our mission partners and may his kingdom be advanced through our prayers, service, and partnership.
