Calvary Family,
Well, it looks like we have slid into February due to the recent snow and ice storm. Hopefully, everyone has been able to stay safe and warm. Thank you to Garrett Lenzen and our staff for helping us continue online worship services while being snowed in. We are blessed to have a talented and knowledgeable staff. So, what’s on the horizon for Calvary during February 2026? Well, I’m glad you asked
First, we will have a special guest family coming to Calvary on Wednesday evening February 18. Cesar and Gabby Rodriguez, the couple who leads Zona Zegura in Peru, will join us for an evening of fellowship, report, vision casting, and prayer. The evening will include an interview with Cesar along with some delicious chili. Since we missed the Calvary Chili Cookoff this year, we are inviting a number of our award winning chili chefs to provide our meal for the night.
Additionally, please save the date for our next quarterly business meeting. This will be an in-person meeting on Sunday evening March 1 starting at 5:30 in the Hangar. Since our “Going Bold” financial campaign is coming to an end, the Finance Committee will be sharing details about a proposed financial plan for paying off the church’s debt. Since we will be making some important financial decisions at this meeting, we will need good attendance and participation. And, just for the fun of it, we will enjoy a pie fellowship to go along with the business stuff.
Thank you to the Calvary church family who works hard week in and week out to make our church a warm light for Christ that shines brightly into the Heights of Little Rock and beyond.
