Minister of Music
My family and I came to Calvary in March 2008. I am the senior Music Minister at Calvary in charge of planning the Traditional Worship services, leading our Adult Worship Choir, working with our soloists, ensembles, handbells, and Children’s Choirs, while supporting The Bridge contemporary service.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Montevallo in Alabama where I grew up, and my Masters of Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
My wife, Donna, is one of the church pianists at Calvary. We love having our three daughters and their families, including two beautiful granddaughters, living in the Little Rock area.
As most anyone around me knows, I am an avid Auburn fan. I own a bright orange Honda Goldwing motorcycle, and I love riding the backroads of Arkansas experiencing this beautiful state. I love leading our people in worship, and pretty much anything to do with music.
I believe that God is preparing Calvary for a bright future of reaching the younger generation to grow our church, and combining them with our older generations in worship and discipleship. There is no greater hope than seeing God bring young people into the faith through our church, and knowing that all we have worked for will continue to be a vital part of our community, our city and beyond.
