Ryan grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Arkansas Baptist High School in 2012. He is a May 2016 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Christian Studies and an emphasis in Christian Ministry.

Ryan realized God’s call on him to ministry during his time at Ouachita and has gained a passion for preaching and teaching God’s word. While at Ouachita, he was a member of the varsity football team and has taken advantage of the platform of sports to share the Gospel.

Ryan’s ministry at Calvary began in April 2016 as part-time Interim Student Pastor, becoming full-time in June 2016. Since being at Calvary, Ryan has furthered our involvement with the FCA at Hall High School and has spent time working with the football players there. He is passionate about seeing students become devoted disciples of Jesus and take the gospel to their friends, teams, schools, and to the nations.

Ryan is currently attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary through their Distance Learning program and is working towards a Masters of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry. His other interests include playing all types of sports, spending time outdoors, reading good books, drinking good coffee, and spending time with family.
