Associate Worship Leader
I was born in north Louisiana and raised in east Texas. I moved to Ruston, La. to attend Louisiana Tech University where I got my Bachelor’s in Speech Communication. I met my husband, Josh, in our college worship team. We served together in our local church as well as the Baptist Collegiate Ministry on campus. We got married after graduating in the spring of 2015 and moved to Little Rock for Josh’s engineering career.
We now have three precious little boys, Heath, Lyle and Wayne, who are my dreams come true. They are four and under, so our lives never slow down.
I accepted Jesus as my Savior as a child, and I felt the Lord directing me to pursue worship in middle school. I picked up the guitar around age 12 and fumbled my way through learning chords and progressions. The Lord has placed a handful of incredible people in my life to build me up in Truth and in leadership.
I love playing the guitar but singing is what allows me to experience the most freedom in worship. Since I discovered my skill set, worship is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I feel incredibly honored to be a small part in creating an atmosphere where people can come as they are and sit at the feet of Jesus. It’s all for His glory – Soli Deo gloria!
